TEY's Affirmation of Baptism Festival
October 25th, 2008 at Gettysburg Seminary, 9 A.M. to 5 P.M.
The Affirmation of Baptism Festivals will gather ninth grade youth — those currently in confirmation or those recently confirmed — for a day of exploring the fullness of baptismal life, and the Christian callings to witness and work against violence and for peace.
In worship and in a shared meal, in small groups and large groups, in video and multimedia presentations, in music and skits, in discussions and in prayer, ninth grade youth will explore what it means to “live among God’s faithful people…and strive for justice and peace in all the earth.”
