Senior High Ministry

There are three events geared towards Sr. High Youth in the Metro DC Synod:

  • Chrysalis – annual synod wide weekend retreat. Held the first weekend in December at the 4H Center

The dates for Chrysalis 2012 are November 30-December 2, 2012.
Registration materials will be online here, emailed to congregational Youth Ministry contacts, and congregations notified by postcard in early September.

  • Chi Rho – annual week long service experience. We serve HOMES in Neon, Kentucy. The dates for Chi Rho 2012 are July 1-7, 2012.
  • 2012 ELCA Youth Gathering – every three years the youth of the ELCA gather and the youth of Metro DC gather with them. The dates for 2012 are July 18-22, 2012. Additional information can be found at www.elca.org/gathering.
