Senior High Ministry

There are three events geared towards Sr. High Youth in the Metro DC Synod:

• Chrysalis – annual synod wide weekend retreat. Held the first or second weekend in December at the 4H Center

The dates for Chrysalis 2010 are December 3-5, 2010.
Our theme is “Stir Up!” We will be asking God to stir up God’s power to stir up our hearts and God’s people so we can stir up the world.

Registration materials will be online here and sent to congregations in September.

• Chi Rho – annual week long service experience. We serve HOMES in Neon, Kentucy.

• National Youth Gathering – every three years the youth of the ELCA gather and the youth of Metro DC gather with them.
